Ireland and the All Blacks

Sitting watching the All Blacks take on Ireland last weekend I was encourage by the bravery and courage with which the Ireland Rugby Team took the game to the Southern Hemisphere giants.
If you are to stand back and look at it and assess the situation objectively you could arrive at the following conclusion. The All Blacks are as close to perfection as regards athleticism, power, skill and equal distribution across their 15 in ability as exists in the world of Rugby.
Ireland have some of the best players in the world in Brian O Driscoll and Tommy Bowe for example but as a unit do not yet match the Kiwis for raw athleticism and skill. However the one variable that is impossible to measure in a lab is that indefinable element called determination. Impossible to measure in a lab or in any test, it is the essential element that all great winners have possessed.
At one stage yesterday Ireland were awarded a penalty 10 meters from the posts and rather than take the three points they opted to go for it and took the scrum. In the middle of the quiet pub I was sitting in alone, bar two or three very regular regulars sipping their Guinness , I let out a guttural scream: “Go on to fuck Ireland”.
You see no matter how huge you perceive the mountain in front of you, no matter how great the challenge or the problem you seem to be facing, never, ever forget that inside us all the one power that connects us is the ability to take control, take charge and decided our own destiny.
Decide you own destiny TODAY.

Did they not lose by 20 points? I thought Irish rugby had moved beyond morale victories.
